UV Printing

U.V. Printing can be summed up in one word; Versatility! With U.V. printing, the inks that are used become instantly cured when exposed to Ultra Violet light. The press sheets that are delivered in the press are completely cured or “dry” and can be worked or shipped immediately. What's more is that this allows us to print on a variety of substrates that can be very difficult or even impossible to print on when using conventional methods. Our U.V. is unique in that it is a “cool” system. Unlike many U.V. systems that can introduce excessive heat in to the printed sheet, our system maintains a very low temperature, which allows us to print on some of the most difficult materials in the world.

Transilwrap Company is one the largest manufacturers of plastic sheet and film products and even they are impressed with the U.V technology that we have invested in;

“Tepel Brothers recently installed a State Of The Future Aradiant™ UV system. Many of our Metro Detroit customers fight or dread printing synthetic substrates. Challenges include increased dry time compared to paper substrates which can clog production. This system designed by Joe Burgio of Aradiant™ is true cold lamp technology. This is the only UV system I have found which does not generate excessive heat which is essential in managing a wide array of synthetic materials. This addition allows Tepel immediate turn of printed goods. Tepel can now go directly from press to finishing because the Aradiant™ system fully cures or dries the ink and coating immediately.”
